with KRIS DEVA NORTH & ANAMARTA
Senior & Advanced Instructors, Tai Chi Union for Great Britain
August 2018 - to be notified
Please note there are no specific pre-requisites for Level 1 Training besides
an interest in Tai Chi. No experience is necessary for Level 1 as you will see below from the Outline Syllabus. Whatever your standard of Tai Chi, Level 1 Training will show you how to improve it, whether or not you decide to become an Instructor.
Above Level 1 the focus is on teaching, through an intensive Immersion program for you to become an outstanding Tai Chi Teacher, recognised and certified by the Tai Chi Union for Great Britain (Overseas Membership recognised.)
TUITION is in two streams:
Advanced to upgrade Instructors who have previously attained Level 1/2 Certification
Basic + Intermediate to certify those new to the program.
Please NOTE RPL: Recognition of Prior Learning applies to those who have achieved a level of experience/ learning recognised by TCUGB.
Meet Your Teaching Team
Kris teaches Tai Chi as shamanic theatre, celestial combat, rooted in Earth and played in the human dimension. Yang advances, Yin withdraws, Harmony prevails.
For Anamarta, Tai Chi is the essence of Feminine Empowerment, connecting with higher and lower forces on the spiritual path, for self-defense (see below!) or simply to harmonise with the environment and alleviate the effects of stress.
The facilities are in keeping with the high standards of tuition, training and commitment!
With your Instructor Certification you will have gained the knowledge, skills and experience to find, recruit, inspire, train and certify Tai Chi learners, including the challenges of Group Dynamics and the knowledge to answer questions about origins, theory, practice and applications.
The aim of our Tai Chi Certified Instructor Training is to train, certify and upgrade outstanding Tai Chi Teachers by:
Providing inspiring and educational training in Tai Chi and underlying theory to a high standard of personal achievement;
Providing comprehensive instruction in the teaching, evaluation, assessment and certification of Tai Chi learners;
Sharing the knowledge and understanding of how to find, recruit, motivate, teach and retain Tai Chi learners
The training includes talks, demonstrations and conversations about the traditions and history of Tai Chi, its many benefits constantly being mentioned by such as Harvard Medical School, and of course the more advanced theory and secret practices of the higher levels. These areas, when not in use for lectures, have good facilities for relaxation and or private study.
